Grace and Peace to you,

My sisters

Brothers

And

Siblings

In

Christ.

We are at the crossroads,

There is no rapture,

So, we shouldn’t be about self-preservation

And forgetting our neighbor

There is no looming apocalypse,

Because the God that we know,

Promised to never allow cataclysmic destruction,

To ever threaten us again

No fears of being left behind,

Because that is why God sent God’s Son

But there can be

A chaos of our own human making,

If we do not embrace

That greatest of commandments

To love one another

As the One,

Who was never silent

Or complicit

But who was radical,

Disrupted the status quo
