What’s the Good Word,

Beloved?

I must confess,

That I don’t know

How that can be

Vocalized,

Especially

This

Week.

(pause)

I have always found

That Psalm 51

To be THAT

Moment

We allow ourselves

To give up the constraints

Of propriety

And lay our very being down,

Before the presence

Of the Creator,

And the ways

Our very beings are burdened

And the ways,

In which sometimes,

If we are honest

We fail one another,

Our fellow siblings

And community
