What’s the Good Word, church?

It is possible

To live

An abundant life,

Without giving up

The precious part

That was poured freely

Into us

By the One,

Who loves us,

Without

End.

(pause)

That part,

Of our souls

We routinely sacrifice

For the limitations

That this world

Proposes

As a solution

To happiness.

We perpetuate

Our own confinement

Of forgetting what it means

To be liberated

By the Word,

And the grace

That God exudes for all of us,

That our labors

Should be poured
