The Theology of the Cross as posed by Dr. James Cone speaks of a theology and of an experience in which parts of humanity which have been oppressed and marginalized by plationized Christianity, are filled with righteous anger and empowered by the realization that the Creator indeed, stands with the oppressed so that they have the ability to take back and profess their Liberation.

What white people cannot fathom is that because of their racism, supposed domination and systemic destruction of what the Creator calls us into of living out our call, because of Love-we have every right to be pissed off and vocalize that-and knowing that we are not penalized because of it-because again, The Creator, the Holy Spirit and Spirits are lifting us upwards.

So for some idiot to post a comment that we should just run to Calvary and wait there for salvation meanwhile our physical bodies are being assaulted and victimized through brutal violence, is completely disrespectful to your story and your journey. This is how white people, who are uncomfortable with the fact that they contributed to the violence and the racism react. They do not want us to live out our lives authentically. They don’t want to come to the realization that their morality has gone against the vital meaning of the Gospel.

Keep preaching and being, Sis.
