The Spirit is Moving; at the Crossroads of the Emmaus Road and Anthony Bourdain-A Sermon

Grace and Peace to you,

My sisters

Brothers,

And siblings in Christ

The Emmaus road,

Is the place where

We encounter the transformative power,

Of what the risen Christ

Leaves with us,

So that journey in this life

is not one,

where we experience

any laments

or struggles

or suffering

or even joy,

alone.

(pause)

That means,

We must embrace

The ways in which

The Word will Manifest

Echoing

and proclaimed

In different voices

And suddenly we find,

New companions along this exploration,

And suddenly we realize,

The bond that has always been,
