Love is Revolution and Resistance Against Systemic Racism: An Easter Sermon

We will speak her name until she is freed and liberated.

Grace and Peace to you,

My sisters

Brothers

And

Siblings

In

Christ

In this season of renewal

And hope

Thrown in alongside the upheaval,

That the reality of oppression,

A tool used by humanity to shatter this conception,

That Love never fails

That Love is not hurtful,

Now no longer fears reprisal

And no longer hide in the shadows.

So therefore

If we truly love one another

We no longer have the privilege

To remain silent

Especially when the One,

Risen indeed

Gave of Himself

To transform

This world,

Into a love unending

Grace, always encompassing

Mercy, unyielding

Amen.
